IN A CALIBRATION LABORATORY

Methodman Oil and Gas Services Ltd has developed two training packages to aid us in actualizing the objective of transferring cutting edge technology to Nigerians in the Field of instrumentation.
1. Basic Calibration Techniques Training (BCTT)
This is a five-day intensive training in instrumentation that adopts an alternative-to-practical approach in teaching, but is sandwiched with two days of full practical sessions.
The course teaches the fundamentals of smart calibration and participants will be able to execute practical calibration of four different types of smart transmitters (pressure, level, flow and temperature) at the end of the training.

BCTT – FLEXY is a 3 months variation of the Basic Calibration Techniques Training specially designed for the working class individual and Industrial Training of Students, The Training schedule is customized to accommodate the regular work hours of the Trainee but stretched in duration so as to deliver the same impact.

2. Optimization of Testing Devices (OTD).
This course focuses on familiarizing participants with various equipments and devices utilized during calibration (both smart and non-smart). Such as the HART Communicator, DRUCK Pressure calibrator, DRUCK loop calibrator, Decade box, digital multimeter, dead weight tester and enerpac Hand pump.

Participants are taught how to maximize the use of these tools through an in-depth and practical study of the various functions available in each tool.
A certificate of participation is given for each course.
